♥︎ accent beads of hand-faceted fine silver: each bead is handmade by the karen hill tribe of people of northern thailand using traditional ancient methods passed down for generations. their kind & gentle spirit makes their silver extra special. since each piece is individually handcrafted, each bead is slightly unique. the silver content of each bead ranges from 95% to 99%, as compared to sterling silver which is 92.5% pure. this gives it a brighter, lighter color & makes it more resistant to tarnish.

♥︎ naturally dyed silk cord (carnelian): made by silk worms, silk is a symbol of transformation. it’s been called a “magical insulator” because it holds magical energies within it, protecting them from outside influence. therefore, the intention I knot into my silk bracelets will be preserved there by the insulating properties of silk.
