a full distance reiki session, but focused specifically on removing any spirit attachments, negative energies you're attracting, or cutting any cords that are no longer serving you. symptoms of spirit attachments can vary vastly, but it does typically manifest both mentally & physically. spirit attachments can be subtle or blatant, but they need to be addressed because they can have a significant impact on your well-being. some examples of symptoms of spirit attachments include:

• unexplained fatigue (feeling drained no matter how much rest you get, as if something is siphoning off your energy)
• sudden mood swings
• feeling disconnected from one's body
• unexplained shifts in behavior such as changes in sleep patterns, alterations in appetite, or disengagement from activities that typically bring joy
• odd feelings or sensations moving around their body or sitting in a particular part of the body
• unexplained aches & pains, especially in areas like your back, neck, or head
• feelings of depression, anxiety, & a general loss of hope
• constant intrusive thoughts, especially about harming yourself or others
• fear or paranoia (feeling like you're being watched)
• overwhelming anger or rage, sadness, or fear without a clear cause
• physical disturbances, such as sleep paralysis or poltergeist activity, can also be indicative of a spirit attachment

of course, these could all be caused by mental illness or temporary distress not associated with spirit attachment, & seeking help from licensed mental health &/or medical health professional is advised either way. however, reiki healing can be immeasurably helpful regardless & in conjunction with other recommended therapies. i truly believe, especially after my work with reiki healing, that any ailment we're experiencing, in our minds or our bodies, has roots at the emotional & spiritual levels.

reiki practitioners can help address these symptoms (& their roots) through energy healing & clearing techniques, which can help release the attachments & restore balance to the client's energy field regardless of your history, background, culture, language, religion, or spiritual beliefs, & even regardless of whether or not you believe that reiki energy is real & really works, reiki energy will work to restore your physical, emotional, & spiritual bodies back to equilibrium.

during the session, i'll be working from crown chakra to root chakra, focusing on major areas & organs around each, healing as well as cleansing, purifying, & removing anything that doesn't belong. the session closes with an intensive aura repairing & cleansing, making sure no more unwanted entities or energies penetrate your fantastic energy field, & then with a ritual sealing in of all of the beautiful, healing energy.

this reiki session requires a bit more time, up to an hour & a half, & you also may need a little extra recovery time cushion when we're done. you'll be notified when your session is about to begin so that you can get ready if you'd like (see tips for receiving reiki healing below). you'll be notified when healing has concluded as well. if you'd feel more comfortable being connected to each other via zoom/google meet/facetime during the session, just notify me after booking, & i'm happy to accommodate.

sometimes reiki healers will receive psychic insights during sessions, & sometimes it feels like something we're meant to convey to the client, especially doing this type of healing. please indicate during the booking process if you'd like to be filled in on any such messages. each session is sacred, protected, so relaxing, & attended & guided by your spirit team.

for full transparency, it should be noted that there is no way to guarantee that we can remove all unwanted attachments that may be harming you in one session. much like a surgeon can't always know what's going on until they get in there, a reiki practitioner often knows a lot more about the situation once they begin healing, too. in my experience, however, both as the healer & the one being healed, there is almost always vast improvement & a large shift of energy in just one session. perhaps that's all you need, & you'll remember your power & take it from there if there's any more to be done. we can all heal ourselves, reiki practitioners or not. sometimes we just need a little help, & rest assured, if you need more help, i'll work with you until you're back to yourself.

owner of lil shop of light & love, erin leigh, is a level 2 reiki practitioner, trained in the usui reiki tradition (specifically the hawayo takata lineage). level 2 reiki practitioners have been attuned to the healing frequency of universal reiki energy, and have been trained in the passed down tradition of hands-on healing, as well as the ability to give reiki to others even across time & space. in other words, reiki can be sent to anyone, anywhere, & even into the past or future using level 2 reiki symbols.

tips for receiving reiki energy:

to receive reiki, whether in-person or via a distance healing session, the more relaxed you can be, the better. we heal best when we're most relaxed, but don't worry, the reiki energy will relax you, too. before your reiki session, decide on a quiet, comfortable space where you can lay down, close your eyes, & relax as much as possible. using relaxing scents, dimming the lights, or using ambient music, headphones, &/or eye covers may help you to relax more deeply. you can use healing crystals in conjunction with reiki healing, either in your space or placed on your body during the session, too, but only if you choose.

focus on your breath, deepening & extended it as much as possible, and relax any tension you're holding in your body. then, imagine you're laying in a beautiful spot outside, perhaps a clearing in the woods, a sandy beach, or a lovely meadow. the sun is shining. you can feel the warmth of its rays, only this isn't normal sunlight; this is healing reiki energy, seeping into your aura, your chakras, your organs, and your every cell. with each breath you take it in deeper. just bask in it's rays, & let your thoughts pass by like clouds in the sky, not engaging with them or judging them, just returning to your breath & the visualization & sensations you feel. if your mind is busy (or if you just like affirmations), you can repeat affirmations to yourself such as, "i receive this healing energy with gratitude," or "i am open to the healing & wisdom of reiki."

should any feelings rise up, allow them if you can, & just lovingly hold space for them to be felt & then released. when your session is over (the estimated time is provided in each booking option), you'll receive a follow-up email notification from erin. take your time returning to normal activities if you can, & if possible, ground yourself after by standing outside barefoot, for instance, or eating something. in the few days following your session, be sure to drink extra water, & don't be surprised if you have any waves of emotion or even physical symptoms, like aches, going to the bathroom more, or being extra tired. i would compare receiving reiki healing to getting a deep tissue massage.
